The product which are used for food packaging as well as for baking and cooking purposes in microwaves and conventional ovens at temperatures of up to 220°C.
They were examined according to the:
("Method for testing papers and boards for food packaging", state of 2008, corresponding to the method no. 80.56 within the Official Collection of Test Methods according to § 64 of the Foodstuffs and Animal Feed Code - LFGB)
as well as to the specific requirements of the
(Swiss Food Code, chapter 47A "Materials made of paper and board for food"),
for the used raw materials, fabrication additives and special paper finishing agents as well as for the release of substances which might endanger health.
The paper grades are in compliance with the rules of the
Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 October 2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food and repealing Directives 80/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC, Official Journal of the European Union L 338/4 of 13.11.2004, modified by app. no. 5.17 of the regulation (EC) No 596/2009 of 18 June 2009, Official Journal of the European Union L 188 of 18 July 2009, article 3,
as well as of the
(Foodstuffs, Consumer Goods and Animal Feed Code (Foodstuffs and Animal Feed Code - LFGB) in the version of the notification of 3 June 2013 (BGBI. p. 1426), last amendment by article 4 paragraph 19 of the law of 18 July 2016 (BGBI. l p. 1666), §§  30 and 31),
and are approved according to the
(German Recommendation XXXVI for the health-related evaluation of materials and objects for the contact with foodstuffs in the frame of the Foodstuffs and Animal Feed Code, 34th memorandum, Bundesgesundheitsblatt 59, 1365-1368 (2016), state of 1 July 2016),
as well as to the
(German Recommendation XXXVI/2 for the health-related evaluation of materials and objects for the contact with foodstuffs in the frame of the Foodstuffs and Animal Feed Code, 181st memorandum, Bundesgesundheitsblatt 32, 80 (1989), including the 220th memorandum, Bundesgesundheitsblatt 59, 1365-1368 (2016), state of 1 July 2016).
Furthermore, they meet the demands of the Swiss
(SR 871.0 Federal Act on Foodstuffs and Utility Articles (Foodstuffs Act - FSA) of 9 October 1992 (AS 1995 1469), state of 1 October 2013 (AS 2013 3095), article 14,
as well as of the
(SR 817.02 Ordinance on Foodstuffs and Utility Articles (FUAO) of 23 November 2005 (AS 2005 5451), state of 1 February 2016 (AS 2016 277), article 34,
and the
(SR 817.023.21 Ordinance of the FDHA on materials and articles of 23 November 2005 (AS 2005 6363), state of 1 April 2013 (AS 2013 899), article 21.
